Gentle Clarifying Shampoo | Flaky, Itchy Scalps | YeastDefense®️

I ordered 2 each of the shampoo and conditioner. I only received 1 of each. I have sent 2 requests for credit for the product I paid for but did not receive. I have heard nothing from the company. Not happy with the company, don't think I will do business with them again regardless of their product's performance.

These products are absolutely amazing! My hair feels so clean and so soft!

This conditioner makes my so soft and it really defines my curls. Huge fan! Only complaint is that the handle doesn’t work so I have to try and squeeze it out by taking the lid off but that’s pretty trivial. I don’t have any great recent pictures of how my hair usually dries but I’ve attached one where you can see how it’s wavy and then the other after using this condition and not even styling my hair. Crazyyyyy. I also like the feel on my scalp. I have a very dry scalp which is why I bought this and this conditioner has been a great addition to my scalp care regimen.

I love this shampoo and conditioner. I used them along with the hair mask, scalp probiotic and scalp solution. It took a few weeks until I could really see a difference. Now my hair feels so soft to touch, is shiny and looks healthier than ever. Thank you!!!

My scalp had become so itchy it almost burned! I’ve only used this product once so far but I felt relief immediately. It left my hair really soft too. I highly recommend this shampoo and conditioner!

The shampoo makes my scalp and hair feel so clean even when i had products that normally weigh it down. The secret to the conditioner is to just apply it and leave it for a bit. I tie my hair into a knot or clip it up while i scrub my body and wash my face and then rinse. Helps it to absorb and truly moisturize my scalp and hair and then rinses out so nicely leaving no heavy residue at all. Even my hairdresser commented on how clean my hair felt.

The first batch I ordered the shampoo was very thin and didn't get much coverage in my hair. I was using a lot to wash. The conditioner I loved. Great coverage and slip. The new batch I git the shampoo is thicker and have way more coverage on my hair, u love it! The conditioner on the other hand doesn't not have the same slip as the first batch. I have locs and it took to my hair better. Other than that, THIS IS THE ONLY SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER THAT HEPLS MANAGE MY SCALP AND ITCHING . I HAVE THE SCALP SOLUTION AS WELL

I’ve been suffering with seborrheic dermatitis for most of my life, and it’s gotten worse as I’ve gotten older. Over the years I have tried many medicated shampoos, and very little herbal shampoos because I noticed the few herbal shampoos I did try did absolutely nothing for my scalp or hair.

I finally realized that dandruff shampoos with pyrithione zinc at 2% strength is the most helpful shampoo for me, however I was still experiencing scabs and flaking. I decided to research an herbal shampoo and conditioner finally that specifically could help with seb derm. I ended up seeing someone recommend Bea’s Bayou in a youtuber’s comments section and I am very happy I decided to investigate.

Based off my first impression, I was glad to see that the creator of this line is a black woman that created this brand because she used to suffer with a diagnosed scalp condition as well and had trouble finding a solution. I am a black woman who suffers from sebb derm, so that immediately grabbed me.

Now to the shampoo and conditioner. I love that the products are full of ingredients that are specifically aimed at helping heal your scalp’s biome. I was pleasantly surprised at how cleansing the shampoo is. I had a separate clarifying shampoo I was using once a month. However since this shampoo is so cleansing, now I can skip that shampoo and simply rely on this one.

I was also pleasantly surprised at how thick the conditioner is. Not only that, but the conditioner has slip as well. I have no issues detangling my hair with this conditioner and my tangle teezer. And my hair feels sooo soft after. (for reference my hair is a combination of 4b/4c)

Finally, any improvement of my sebb derm? Yes ! I currently have no scabs, and just a few flakes. I do get an itchy scalp and some flakiness when it’s close to my wash day, however that’s due to me waiting too long lol. Also compared to before, I have seen a major improvement and I am so happy I found this line because I will definitely be sticking to it it.

Just to share my routine that has been working for me: I use Vanicream’s Dandruff Shampoo that has 2% pyrithione zinc. I use an applicator bottle and let this shampoo sit on my scalp for about 10 minutes before I hop in the shower. Then I rinse out that shampoo and follow with Bea’s Bayou Shampoo and Conditioner. I then style with a curling mousse.

I love this shampoo & conditioner! I was using ciclopirox which is a prescription shampoo. Found out it has sodium laurel sulfate in it which can cause cancer. Plus it wasn’t helping much. Tried several other shampoos and then found Bea’s Bayou! I have been using for about a month now. Not only has it gotten rid of the bumps & itching but my hair is so healthy! My husband is using it now for his dandruff.

I’ve only used the shampoo twice, but it seemed to Help with my dermatitis. If it works like the scalp solution which is awesome I’ll be very happy.

I recently purchased this because I have scalp psoriasis and have been looking for something all natural and gentle that will properly clean my scalp without irritating it. I think I have found the one. The shampoo left me feeling squeaky clean and the conditioner had more slip than I expected and is really silky. I used more than I needed, won’t be doing that again because I don’t want to waste it. I am not sure if it’ll soothe my scalp psoriasis and stop the itch/flakes/lift plaques but I like the products in general for my hair.

After just one shampoo and conditioning and the itchiness subsided and I can tell less hair has fallen out!

This is my second bottle of this shampoo. I’m very particular about what products I use on my hair and scalp. This shampoo does a great job at cleansing my scalp and locs. It’s light and doesn’t leave buildup or that dry/stripped feeling. I have oily, flaky scalp. Paired with the scalp solution, I get more “good” scalp days, less itching and minimal flakes.

Let me start off by saying: I am VERY busy and NEVER take the time to write reviews unless the product is truly incredible. Well… I’m writing a review so you KNOW these products impressed me!
I have been using the scalp solution for a few months and really really like it. It helps keep my scalp calm and helps me keep my protective styles in longer. But this shampoo and conditioner?!?!?!?! Amazing!

I recently took my braids out and didn’t have the time to tend to my hair like I should for about a week. My hair gets tangled and dry very easily and is often hard to manage after a protective style.
Today, I decided to finally wash my hair and this shampoo and conditioner came in the mail right in time for me to use them.
For the first time in my ENTIRE adult life of washing my own hair, I got out of the shower and my entire scalp was CLEAN! My hair was soft and fluffy and easy to detangle after the conditioner. I am sooo impressed!!! I immediately told my best friend about this shampoo and conditioner.

Please bring on a leave in conditioner and edge control that is actually good for edges that suffer with SD!

This is a great combo. Shampoo smells so fresh my scalp loved it and the conditioner left my locs so soft. It’s only been a week but I will definitely be a frequent customer.

Let me say again that this is a great product from an outstanding company who went the extra mile to replace a damaged bottle with another, and delivered it in a box at my request. I will definitely buy from Bea's again!

Once again Bee's Bayou has given me outstanding service as well as outstanding products. There was a problem with the delivery of my order. The packaging was severely damaged and Bea's not only replaced it with no charge, they upped the packaging by putting their usual packaging (which is usually great) at my request they also put it in a box. And that one arrived in perfect condition.

There is something in the shampoo or conditioner that is making me scalp itch more and it’s flaky. My hair is also lifeless. Maybe I am allergic to something in it. I hoped these would help.
