As a pre-wash scalp treatment:
Simply part your hair into equal sections and massage a few drops of oil per section into your scalp. Take 20 to 60 minutes to feel it work its magic before rinsing out and applying our shampoo and conditioner. Can certainly sit overnight if used in thicker amount, meant to rinse out.

How to use as a hair oil:
Disperse 1-4 drops and apply to the ends of the hair to smooth frizz and add natural shine to the hair. Start with a small amount and build up as needed.

      The best combination I gave found for my daughter's scalp whom is now 14. Since a baby suffered from hair loss due to scabs cause white scalp, eczema on the scalp I was told.       We’ve tried so many things for seborrheic dermatitis, prescription, otc, homeopathic/natural, had just about given up but this scalp oil works great! It was so bad I thought we’d need the scalp solution as well. But it’s been on with just the oil (and a an antifungal and salicylic acid shampoos). The scalp was still terrible with just the shampoos, the oil made the difference

      Finally a truly lightweight oil!

      I have tried so many oils that claimed to treat sd and dandruff. This one is it! It’s so lightweight and actually absorbs into the scalp. No running down your face and neck in the heat. My scalp doesn’t feel coated and it doesn’t clog your scalp or exacerbate the condition. This combined with the Good Biome shampoo allowed me to go 2 weeks in between washes. No itching, not a peep from my scalp. Never have I ever. I of course wash and condition my hair every week but it’s nice to know I won’t get a flare up if I stretch my style another couple days

      The first time I purchased this I loved it. It lasted a little while so when I went to repurchase the product smelt completely different, had a different label and just didn’t feel the same. Not sure why?

      Thank you for the feedback. Labels for the Flourish Oil will now have a metallic design feature and we are upgrading all of the labels to have this in the near future. The smell is still mostly peppermint, but the ingredients are the same and the castor oil was added as a carrier oil to help dilute the essential oils. The castor oil also helps stretch out the life of the bottle as you can use less product. If the effectiveness has changed in any way however, please let us know, as we want to continue to provide anti-inflammatory and effective products that calm itch fast and help nourish the scalp to promote thick and healthy growth. Thanks again for being an amazing customer and taking time to share! We are also having a focus group THIS Thursday and you can hop on zoom and share in depth. We'd love to have you!

      Hoping that the oil will help me with some weak spots in my hair

      I have only used the oil one day. I have been using the scalp solution, which has been a tremendous help. The cap on the bottle cracked, but I found a replacement for it. If the scalp solutions is any indication of your products, I am sure that that Flourish Scalp Oil will help me. I just need to give it some time.

      My dad and I both suffer from seborrheic dermatitis; he has a particularly bad case. The whole side of his head has been one big painful, scaly, itchy patch for over 6 months. We did an elimination diet and have been eating organic, healthy whole foods for more than a year. Nothing seemed to help, not prescription shampoos or more natural remedies. We tried EVERYTHING. I had just about given up when I stumbled on this product. I figured it was worth a shot since we had nothing to lose. IT WORKS. Within 3 days, our dry patches were completely cleared up. The product would be worth it just for the soothing feeling it provides on application, but having it actually heal the problem areas, as well? Priceless. I only use it on clean hair and after I applied solution. I’ve tried it on its own on not clean hair, not a good idea. I’d say this is good for ethnic hair bc we like to oil our scalps but with Serb derm you can’t so I was happy I could use this for that purpose. Really good for winter months & protective styles like braids. Good protective barrier.
