About Bea's Bayou Skincare

Louisiana native and Licensed Master Social Worker, Arielle Brown, is the founder and owner of Bea's Bayou Skincare, named after her maternal grandmother, Beatrice.  After getting her Masters degree in Social Work from Southern University New Orleans, she provided direct mental health services conducting trauma-focused therapies with children and families for seven years. After leaving the education system, Arielle chose entrepreneurship, working as a Realtor. During the pandemic, she created scalp drops to help soothe her inflamed scalp and to her surprise, Bea’s Bayou Skincare was born! “Our vision is to inspire healing & build confidence and our values are empathy, integrity, and audacity!” Bea’s Bayou’s product line has grown to include both scalp and face care products to address sensitive, itchy, flaky, imbalanced skin. In 2022, Bea’s Bayou Skincare won the Essence and Aveeno Skin Health Pitch Award. Arielle has participated in various accelerator programs including Founder Gym, Black Girl Ventures, Fearless Fund, IDEA Institute, Jrue & Lauren Holiday Fund, and most recently by Stitchcrew, Amazon, New Voices Foundation, and Digital Undivided - Breakthrough!  She is a member of Cosmetic Executive Women, International Society of Female Professionals, and her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.  Arielle loves family time, reading, good food, and singing!

“It is an honor for me to continue growing Bea's Bayou Skincare into a legacy brand, and one day, help other young entrepreneurs go after their goals as well.”  For more information, please visit https://beasbayouskincare.com or email hello@beasbayouskincare.com
